Michael Becker

St. Pius X - Cedar Rapids

Prior to becoming the operations manager for CFAD, Michael Becker was the pastoral associate and social justice coordinator for St. Pius X Parish in Cedar Rapids. He spent four years ministering to the people of the parish as well as maintaining levels of support for agencies in Cedar Rapids.

Before his work in the parish setting, Michael worked in the financial industry at Heartland Financial in Dubuque. There he functioned as a loan maintenance specialist in which he processed loan modifications and ushered in an automated payment processing system.

Michael has a BA in finance with an emphasis in investments from the University of Northern Iowa. He also obtained a BA in philosophy during his discernment in and out of seminary from Loras College.

Michael resides in Cedar Rapids with his wife where they enjoy hosting board game nights, playing golf and spending time with family.
