Julie Schneekloth brings over 30 years of extensive experience in Human Resources to her current role as the Administrative Assistant to CFAD. Her diverse background in HR has equipped her with a wealth of knowledge and skills that she continues to apply in her daily responsibilities.
Julie holds a double major in education from the University of Northern Iowa, underscoring her commitment to lifelong learning and development. Her educational background, coupled with her professional experience, has made her a valuable asset to the organizations she has been a part of.
Volunteerism is a cornerstone of Julie’s life. She is deeply engaged in her community and at St. Ludmila's, where she volunteers in numerous capacities. Additionally, she dedicates her time to Cedar Rapids Animal Control. Her exceptional volunteer efforts have not gone unnoticed; Julie was honored by Waypoint Services in Cedar Rapids with the Tribute to Women of Achievement in Service to the Community. Furthermore, she received the prestigious 2018 State of Iowa Governor’s Volunteer Award for her outstanding contributions to the community.
Outside of her professional and volunteer commitments, Julie enjoys reading and cherishing moments with her family. She also loves attending sporting events with her husband, Terry, a math teacher at City View High School in Cedar Rapids. Their daughter, a senior internal auditor for the Board of Regents, is another source of pride and joy for Julie.
