Congratulations to the Catholic Foundation in the Archdiocese of Dubuque’s (CFAD) photo contest winners! Their winning submissions will be featured on CFAD’s social media (@OurCFAD) in the next weeks. CFAD sought photos that represent Catholic churches, the faith and Catholic education in the parishes and schools within the Archdiocese of Dubuque to use in various promotions. Judging by a committee of CFAD volunteers based the decisions on Catholic theme, technical excellence, good composition and artistic merit.
First place goes to Liliya Ward, a member of St. Patrick Parish Cedar Rapids and a junior at Xavier High School, for a photo within St. Patrick Church.
Second place goes to Taylor Scallon, a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish Hiawatha and a senior at Xavier High School, for a photo within St. Elizabeth Ann Seton.
