As CFAD concludes its 10-year anniversary celebrations, its board of directors and staff announce a new grant fund named after CFAD’s patron saint called The St. Katharine Drexel Fund. This fund will help in three ways: leveraging endowments, expanding Works of Mercy or growing evangelization efforts. The fund provides assistance in the 30 counties of the Archdiocese of Dubuque and is given to parishes, schools, apostolates, associations, ministries or other Catholic organizations.
Applications for the grant will open in April 2022, and CFAD will send information about the process at that time. "We are excited to add another way we can help those that our Catholic community serves," says Michele Brock, CFAD executive director. "In our 10 years, we’ve granted back tens of millions of dollars to hundreds of organizations, and this will add to that. We honor the past 10 years and look forward to the decades to come where we’ll see the resources given for our Catholic partners multiply in ways to help the missions of those we serve."
